The Kimberley Dynamiters return to the Civic Centre on Friday for game three of their divisional finals with the Creston Valley Thunder Cats.
After two outings, the match up is locked at 1-1 and Nitros Coach Derek Stuart believes emotions are beginning to get higher.
The series is just getting started he says and as they crank up the intensity, guys are feeling a little bit of hate towards Creston.
He thinks that’s a good thing as long as they stay disciplined.
The Nitros haven’t been in their own rink since game five of their first round series against the Fernie Ghostriders.
Stuart believes fans can make home ice advantage a big factor in playoffs.
Based on what he’s seen this year, he feels the Nitros have the best support in the conference and says they’re really looking forward to feeding off their energy.
He knows they’ll have a lot of people out cheering them on and explains the players are very excited to get back after three straight road games.
The teams meet again in Kimberley on Saturday for game four.
