Premier Christy Clark has announced that she will put a BC Liberal Minority Government to the test.
Clark intends to stay on as Premier, despite a deal between the NDP and Green Party to form a government with the majority of MLAs.
During a conference call, Clark admitted that the Liberals will likely fail a vote of confidence and she could be forced to become the leader of the Opposition.
No date has been set for a confidence vote, although Clark expects it to occur sometime in June.
