The first Canadian to walk in space will be a keynote speaker at an event in Kimberley this Fall.
Sessions and presenters will focus on how to harness opportunities from three global trends: shifting demographics in our communities, rapidly evolving technology and the changing climate.
Hadfield became an astronaut in 1992 and went on to operate the Canadarm in orbit and command the International Space Station.
He has since become a bestselling author and sought-after public speaker, sharing his experiences about managing complexity and change.
The Colonel will also speak to youth and the public in Cranbrook on Friday, October 13, at Western Financial Place.
