It may be next year before two members of the polygamist community of Bountiful are sentenced, if at all.
Dates in November are being considered for a hearing of the challenges to the proceedings in the case of Winston Blackmore and James Oler.
The two were both found guilty of practicing polygamy last month in a Cranbrook courtroom.
Blackmore said after the verdict that he will be challenging the ruling and its expected Oler will support aspects of it as well.
A pre-hearing conference will be held Tuesday to determine when the challenge will be heard in court.
If the challenge is unsuccessful it is likely the sentencing for Blackmore and Oler won’t occur until 2018.
