The Lamb Creek fire approximately 5 km northwest of Moyie has grown to 28 hectares and is now considered a fire of note.
There are currently two helicopters, six air tankers and BC Wildfire Service personnel responding to the blaze.
The fire is not threatening any communities or structures but smoke is highly visible from the Moyie Lake area and Highway 3/95.
The Booth Creek fire approximately 7 km west of Cranbrook is 1.2 hectares in size.
It is not threatening any communities or structures.
The suspected causes of the blazes are still unknown according to BC Wildfire Service.
