It’s seems Kimberley’s KIJHL organization is turning its attention away from a promise of $7.5 million dollars by a local resident.
In a post on the Dynamiters’ Facebook page, the Board of Directors says they have not received the money pledged by Mike Gould who made the announcement at an October 13th home game.

The post reads the team is focused on the hockey season and this will be the only statement they release on the matter.
President James Leroux and Mr. Gould have both not responded to initial requests for comment.
Gould previously told The Drive FM newsroom that he won an international lottery online in 2008 and he was fulfilling a life-long love of the sport by committing the money to his hometown KIJHL club.
Gould said he hopes the money would help more local kids get involved in sport.
Leroux said in the weeks following the announcement the organization was optimistic they would receive the money.
