Restorative Justice is being considered by Cranbrook RCMP after they arrested two youth in connection to more vehicle-related crime.
Police were called early Sunday morning by someone who said they interrupted a theft from a vehicle.
Mounties responded along with a service dog and found the suspects after a lengthy pursuit.
RCMP say two young men were in possesion of stolen property and drugs.
Police add they are candidates for Restorative Justice – which has the victims and the offenders mediate a resolution to the satisfaction of each.
Key City Mounties have been dealing with several reports of thefts or damage to local vehicles as of late.
