A Cranbrook employment group wants to improve access to services for job seekers.
EK Employment will be hosting an outreach service at the Salvation Army’s Key City office and the Community Connections Society starting next week.
Client Services Leader Kerstin Renner says the bi-weekly sessions should make job hunting easier for residents.
“Our office is accessible, but for some people it might just be easier to get the services where they already are, where they are feeling comfortable and safe,” Renner says. “Where they already have other services that people might be accessing and then they might be benefitting from our services as well.”
Regular services at the two locations will get started the 25th, with information sessions starting next week.
More details about the information sessions can be found below.
