Dycar Pharmaceuticals will be using an 86,000 square building in the Industrial Park.
Planned renovations will allow the company to increase total production space to over 114,000 square feet.
Construction is expected to start next month now that Dycar owns the property, and they’ve recevied Health Canada’s approval last November.
The facility will be built in two phases with the first phase costing $7.1 million.
Dycar expects to receive its cultivating license in June.
The company says it will have invested $35 million into Cranbrook when they’ve finished the build.
They anticipate to employing up to 60 people for the first phase of operations and more than 200 people at full build-out.
