The Kootenay ICE have struck a deal with the Spokane Chiefs.
The ICE sent forward Michael King to the Chiefs in exchange for a conditional 2020 fifth round pick in the WHL Bantam Draft.
King amassed 15 points in 59 games with Kootenay last season.
This is the second time Kootenay and Spokane have made a trade this off-season. The ICE traded d-man Bobby Russell to the Chiefs in June for a 2019 fifth round pick.
