![]() Karen Kornelsen is the Broadcast Center News Team’s newest Reporter and Weekend News Anchor.
Home for Karen is now Kimberley, B.C. after making the long journey from Winnipeg, Manitoba in the summer of 2011. Yes, that means she’s tough, has a closet full of Jets attire, and can survive in an igloo for up to 30 days. She graduated from Red River College with her journalism degree in 2009 and has since worked in every medium: TV, print and radio. Karen brings a lot of experience to the table as a former Senior Writer/Editor at a publishing firm and used to host/rock the Manitoba Moose Hockey live broadcasts on MTS TV in Winnipeg. Karen loves her new life here in B.C. When she’s not chasing down leads, you can find her snowboarding, hiking, camping or basically doing anything that involves the outdoors or adventure in general. If you have leads or story ideas, you are welcome to send her an email at Karen@broadcastcenternews.ca. | |
