What a tangled web a mule deer in Kimberley found itself in.
Conservation Officers were called to a house in Marysville when a buck became stuck in a hammock Monday morning.
CO Jeff Scott says incidents like this happen around two times a year.
“We used some tranquilizing gear and equipment. Once he was down and knocked out, the hammock was removed from him and we added the ear tag and he was back on his feet and on his way,” Scott says. “It was a pretty quick and simple process, but he was not going anywhere without our help.”
Scott says the deer could have seriously hurt itself if the incident wasn’t reported.
