The case of a man accused of killing of a Cranbrook senior has been pushed back again.
Emmanual Robert Murphy appeared in a Key City courtroom via video Monday and was expected to enter a plea.
He is charged with manslaughter and interference with a body after a local woman was found dead in March.
Counsel advised they would hold off on the proceedings as Crown says they will be presenting a proposal.
When the judge asked if that was OK with Mr. Murphy, the accused told the courtroom from the Okanagan Correctional Centre “no” and he plans on pleading not guilty.
The matter was adjourned to Nov. 6th.
