An open house in Cranbrook will focus on the restoration of a local creek.
The community is invited to learn more about the Restore Joseph Creek Project 1 pm Saturday in Idlewild Park.
The event organized by Columbia Outdoor School includes tours of Idlewild Lake and the nearby dam and wetland.
The school says it could take up to 20 years to complete the work and community support is needed.
They also hope to highlight the site’s Ktunaxa roots through the work.
