The Kootenay ICE lost 3-1 in Prince George last night.
The ICE heavily outshout the Cougars 41-28 but PG puck-stopper Taylor Gauthier was able to turn away 40 shots.
Peyton Krebs scored the lone goal for the ICE with Loeden Schaufler picking up the assist.
Kootenay record is now 13-16-1-0 and they remain tied for second in the Central Division.
Their five-game BC swing continues Friday night against the Victoria Royals followed by the Vancouver Giants Saturday.
