An $11.5 million road project between Moyie and Creston should get underway in June.
A contract was awarded to Dawson Construction Limited from Kamloops and will cover over 71 kilometres of highway, including 36 kilometres of Highway 3 from Yahk to Arrow Creek Road.
Highway 95 from the Kingsgate Border Crossing to the Curzon Junction will also be resurfaced through the work, as will selected side roads near Yahk and Moyie.
A pre-construction meeting is planned near the end of May to finalize construction details and how it will impact traffic.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of September.
