At approximately 2:00 p.m. on May 17th, the City of Kimberley Fire Department responded to a house fire on Boundary street.
Ten personnel responded quickly and were able to extinguish the fire before it extended deeper into the structure.
Fortunately no civilians or responders were injured during the incident, two dogs were removed from the structure and returned to the home owner in good health.
We would like to remind everyone to please use caution when driving around any emergency responders and if possible please avoid areas where emergency responders are working.
