Police were called after a drunken man was found wandering through the Canfor Mill in Radium Hot Springs over the long weekend.
Columbia Valley RCMP say the man was found in the lumber yard early Saturday morning.
He had no shoes on and could only remember his name and the city he lived in.
Officers investigated and found he was staying at the nearby resort with his wife, who was willing to care for the man while he sobered up.
RCMP report they also took drunk drivers off the road near Fairmont Hot Springs and Kinsman Beach in Invermere.
Both male drivers were issued Immediate Roadside Prohibitions of 90 days and had their vehicle impounded for 30 days.
