A sentencing date has been set in Cranbrook Court for the case of Matthew Allen Buxton.
A jury found Buxton guilty of three charges Tuesday, including sexual assault, assault and uttering death threats in connection to an October 2016 incident.
Crown had applied to have Buxton’s bail revoked based on a number of factors, including his criminal history.
That application was dismissed and he will remain on bail until his sentencing August 27th.
Before that, the court is expected to receive a pre-sentencing report including a psychiatric assessment.
