There’s no fresh powder, but there’s still plenty going on at Fernie Alpine Resort.
Lots of activities are available on the hill throughout the skiing offseason.
Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Senior Vice President of Resort Experience Matt Mosteller says there’s something to do for everyone.
“Not a lot of people realize that we are open for hiking, mountain biking, nature walks, many numerous events and an aerial park which provides lots of excitement and is the perfect place for families and birthday adventures.” says Mosteller.
Mosteller says one of his favourite activities is the aerial park.
“A lot of people still don’t realize it exists at Fernie Alpine Resort and part of it is because you have to walk a little bit up the hill so it’s not in real front-of-mind view.” explains Mosteller. “It’s really this playground in the trees that everyone that leaves after their done doing it has a big smile on their face.”
