Technical Safety BC is expected to release a report Wednesday detailing what happened in the deadly ammonia leak at the Fernie Memorial Arena last year.
The independent organization oversees the safe installation and operation of technical systems and equipment across the province and were part of the lengthy investigation into the October 17th tragedy.
The goal of Technical Safety BC’s report is to provide recommendations to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
The agency is set to host a press conference 10 am Wednesday morning in Vancouver discussing the report.
Three men died October 17th at Memorial Arena due to the fatal gas leak.
