You don’t have to travel very far to play some of the best golf courses in the country.
ScoreGolf released its bi-annual Top 100 Courses in Canada list which included three courses in the East Kootenay.
Greywolf in Panorama ranked 15th while Wildstone in Cranbrook came in at 78th and Copper Point in Invermere placed 85th.
Wildstone Golf Course General Manager Chris Andrews says it’s great to be recognized nationally.
“It’s very rewarding to be named on the list.” says Andrews. “It really shows the great accomplishments that our staff has, especially our maintenance team that works tirelessly to make a great golf course for people to play everyday.”
“The Kootenay Rockies region is a really good golf destination with a great variety of golf courses up the valley and down the valley.” explains Andrews. “In the Cranbrook and Kimberley are we’ve got seven outstanding courses that are a treat to play, great value for the dollar and exceptional service at every one.”
Eagle Ranch in Invermere was included as an honourable mention on the list.
