Passengers on an Air Canada flight travelling from Vancouver to Cranbrook were forced to make an emergency landing in Kelowna Saturday.
A spokesperson with the Kelowna International Airport says the plane experienced a suspected hydraulic issue enroute to the Canadian Rockies International Airport, forcing the flight to be diverted.
Emergency personnel were on standby when the aircraft landed without incident in Kelowna just before 11 am Saturday.
The flight was scheduled to arrive in Cranbrook at 11:35 am and had 50 passengers on board.
