A $10 million trades training facility in Cranbrook will open its doors Friday.
The College of the Rockies is hosting a grand opening for Patterson Hall at the college’s main campus, housing electrical, heavy mechanical and industrial mechanic programs.
The facility was funded by the College of the Rockies, with support from the Provincial and Federal government, Teck Resources and Columbia Basin Trust.
It was named after COTR founder James Patterson, recognizing his legacy of trades training and post-secondary education in the region.
It will welcome students for the Fall semester.
