The search for a missing Cranbrook woman in the Jumbo Pass has entered its third day.
Police say additional resources have arrived from Revelstoke to help in the search for 52 year old Louise Baxter, with more expected from the West Kootenay.
Two helicopters are transporting teams into the primary search area and an additional command post has been established at the top of the mountain where she was last seen.
Police believe hikers in the area may have seen or spoke to Baxter prior to her being reported missing Sunday afternoon.
If you are one of those hikers, you are asked to call the Columbia Valley RCMP.
Volunteers are not being deployed in the primary search area due to the steep terrain and are instead searching the roadway at the bottom of the valley.
Police believe more than enough volunteers have come forward at this time.
