A search for a missing Cranbrook woman is continuing in the Jumbo Pass area.
Police say about 25 SAR team members were deployed Tuesday, with three helicopters used to transport teams due to the steep terrain.
An RCMP drone is also being used to search dangerous and inaccessible areas.
Three search dogs are also on the scene, with a fourth being brought out.
52-year-old Louise Baxter was on a hike with a group of six people in the Jumbo Pass area when she went missing.
She reportedly went for a short walk by herself on Sunday and did not return.
Search and Rescue teams from Cranbrook, Kimberley, Creston, Golden and the Columbia Valley have been involved in the search.
Mounties say they have received a large amount of calls and inquiries about helping out in the search, but the number of volunteers they are able to utilize is limited due to the steep and rough terrain. Only trained SAR team volunteers will be accommodated.
