All properties within the City of Kimberley and its municipal boundaries remain on evacuation alert.
This while an evacuation order for 65 properties to the west in the St. Mary Valley is still in effect.
The Regional District of East Kootenay and the City of Kimberley has had the order and alert in place since Thursday.
The Meachen Creek wildfire west of Kimberley experienced minimal growth over the weekend and extra resources have been deployed including 3 helicopters and 6 pieces of heavy equipment.
North of Kimberley, two of the smaller fires in the Lost Dog area are being held while crews have successfully established control lines on the main fire which is around 700 hectares.
The two fires are now under command of a 21 person incident management team from Ontario and along with the Mount Dickson fire have been classified as the Meachen Creek complex.
An evacuation alert is still active for 121 properties in the Ta Ta Creek area north of Kimberley as well as a single property near Yahk.
An evacuation order for nine properties outside of Radium remains in place.
