The Kootenay ICE suffered back to back losses at the hands of the Spokane Chiefs this weekend.
The Chiefs picked up a 6-3 victory over Kootenay on Saturday.
Spokane had six goals over the first 41 minutes of play, before the ICE could respond with a goal of their own.
The ICE came alive in the third period, scoring three goals in the 20 minutes before the end of the game. They couldn’t recover from the early assault from Spokane though, 6-3 the final score.
Davis Murray had two goals in the contest, while Peyton Krebs scored the ICE’s first goal of the night.
The loss comes after a 7-4 loss to Spokane at Western Financial Place Friday, despite a third period push in that game as well.
The ICE are back in action Friday, October 5th when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings.
