Early Monday morning, the Kimberley Fire Department responded to a structure fire in Morrison subdivision. Twenty one members responded to the call.
The fire was contained to the area of origin within the home and was quickly extinguished by fire crews with minimal damage to the structure.
The occupants of the structure were able to evacuate safely prior to arrival of the fire department. The occupants have been connected with Emergency Social Services to assist with lodging during displacement from their home.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
