The Kootenay ICE are waiting to hear the latest on Peyton Krebs upper body injury.
Krebs was injured in the third period of Friday’s game against the Calgary Hitmen and did not play Saturday or Sunday.
Head Coach James Patrick expects to hear more on the forward’s condition soon.
“We’ll see how he is this week. Day-to-day injury that certainly wasn’t ready this weekend,” Patrick says. “So we’ll see where he is on Tuesday.”
Krebs recently received an A rating in NHL Central Scouting’s “Players to Watch” list.
The forward has 27 points in 23 games with the ICE this season, including six goals and 21 assists.
