A driver was taken off the road following a road check by Kimberley RCMP Thursday.
Police set up a check stop on Rotary Drive around 1:45 pm Thursday afternoon.
They say within 15 minutes, a driver was checked who showed signs of having consumed alcohol.
Officers say the driver failed a breath test and was served a 90-day driving prohibition. His vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
RCMP say they also dealt with two vehicles with no insurance and issued two warnings for vehicle defects.
